Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern is hiring a room attendant to join its Housekeeping department in Luzern, Switzerland. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a hospitality professional with cleaning experience who can maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest service in a luxury hotel environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for professionally cleaning guest rooms, corridors and staff areas, completing turndown services, reporting technical issues and following established hygiene and safety standards.
The Role
Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern is looking for a Room Attendant to support its Housekeeping department.
The successful candidate will ensure that guest rooms and relevant hotel areas are clean, functional and inviting while maintaining the hotel’s hygiene, safety and quality standards. The Room Attendant reports to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Professionally cleaning guest arrival, stayover and departure rooms.
- Cleaning corridors and storage rooms.
- Cleaning back-of-house areas such as offices and staff changing rooms.
- Reporting technical defects or maintenance issues.
- Delivering lost property to the Housekeeping Office.
- Following hygiene and workplace safety standards.
- Performing turndown service.
- Completing additional housekeeping duties as required.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Working as part of the Housekeeping team to support a quality guest experience.
