Bus Drivers needed Australia (AIRPORT)

Workfast is hiring bus drivers to join its team at Brisbane Airport, Queensland, Australia. This is a casual employment opportunity offering approximately $2,000 per week, with hourly rates ranging from $38.50 to $40, depending on the applicable rate and shift.

The successful candidates will transport passengers safely around the airport, assist travellers with general enquiries and luggage, maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete routine safety checks. Drivers must be reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working in a busy airport environment.

The Role

Workfast is looking for experienced Bus Drivers to support passenger transportation operations at Brisbane Airport.

The successful candidates will operate airport buses, transport passengers between terminals and parking areas, assist travellers and work closely with airport operations teams to ensure smooth passenger movement.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Transporting passengers safely around Brisbane Airport.
• Driving passengers between terminals and car parks.
• Providing terminal-to-terminal passenger transport.
• Transporting passengers between terminals and DFO.
• Assisting passengers with general enquiries.
• Helping passengers with luggage when required.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bus.
• Completing routine vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Reporting vehicle issues or maintenance concerns.
• Working closely with airport operations teams.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Supporting safe and efficient passenger movement.
• Working with domestic and international travellers in a busy airport environment.

Drivers will work on a rotating roster, with shifts covering early mornings, afternoons and overnight periods.

Candidate Requirements

Workfast is seeking applicants who bring:

• At least 1 year of bus driving experience.
• A valid HR licence or higher.
• A valid Public Transport Drivers Authority.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ability to pass an airport security check.
• Ability to obtain an ASIC Card and Airside Drivers Authority.
• Ability to successfully complete a drug and alcohol test.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Strong commitment to passenger safety.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliability and a professional approach to work.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Own transport or reliable ability to travel to the workplace.
• Willingness to work hard and demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.
