Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is hiring a Plumber (m/f/d) in Saint Moritz, Switzerland. This is a permanent, year-round opportunity for a qualified plumbing or heating professional to support hotel operations, staff accommodation, and technical facilities.

The successful candidate will handle plumbing repairs and minor installations, inspect and maintain heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems, and support technical operations during hotel events. The role also includes guest bathroom inspections, snow clearance, fire safety duties, and occasional on-call shifts.

The Role

Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is looking for a reliable and technically skilled Plumber to join its team in Saint Moritz.

The successful candidate will help maintain the hotel’s plumbing and technical systems while ensuring guest areas and staff accommodation remain in excellent condition. The position involves a varied range of maintenance, repair, safety, and operational responsibilities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Carrying out plumbing repairs throughout the hotel.
• Completing minor plumbing installations and maintenance work.
• Supporting plumbing repairs and installations in staff accommodation.
• Inspecting heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
• Performing regular maintenance to help ensure efficient system operation.
• Supporting energy-conscious operation of technical systems.
• Conducting regular inspections of guest bathrooms.
• Ensuring guest bathrooms consistently meet the hotel’s high standards.
• Supporting technical setup during hotel events.
• Ensuring plumbing requirements for events are professionally completed.
• Participating in snow clearance duties when required.
• Supporting the hotel’s operational fire safety team.
• Responding to technical emergencies during occasional on-call shifts.
• Identifying and addressing plumbing or technical issues promptly.
• Working closely with other hotel departments and technical staff.
• Maintaining a safe and professional working environment.
• Performing other technical and maintenance duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is seeking applicants who bring:

• Completed vocational training as a heating engineer, plumbing installer, or equivalent qualification.
• Professional experience in plumbing, heating, or related technical services.
• Experience in a larger hotel operation is an advantage.
• Good command of German.
• Spoken Italian language skills.
• English language skills are an advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Independent and precise working style.
• Ability to identify and solve technical problems.
• Strong resilience and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Solution-oriented approach to maintenance and repairs.
