Food Counter Attendant needed in Canada

The Role

Tim Hortons is looking for motivated food counter attendants to support its daily food service operations.

The successful candidates will assist customers, prepare and package food items, maintain service areas, and help keep the restaurant clean and organized.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Clearing and cleaning tables, trays and chairs.
• Packaging take-out food for customers.
• Serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
• Using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim food products.
• Sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout food preparation and customer service areas.
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Supporting other restaurant duties as required.

The position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in the food service industry, with training available for candidates who have no previous experience.

Candidate Requirements

Tim Hortons is seeking applicants who bring:

• Ability to communicate in English.
• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• No previous work experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Grande Prairie, Alberta.
• Reliable and responsible approach to customer service and restaurant duties.
• Flexibility to work early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend and shift schedules.

Previous food service experience may be helpful, but it is not required for this position.
