Key Responsibilities
As a Waiter/Waitress, your duties may include the following:
- Greet customers, present menus, and provide a welcoming dining experience.
- Describe menu items and daily specials to customers.
- Make food and beverage recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Take customer orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Present bills and process payments using cash, credit cards, debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations where applicable.
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
- Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations.
