Key Responsibilities
As a Plumber, your duties may include the following:
Plumbing Installation & Repair Duties:
- Install domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and pipe systems
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures
- Cut openings in walls and floors for pipe fittings
- Join pipes using clamps, couplings, screws, cement, soldering, and welding equipment
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required sizes
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
Worksite & Operations Support:
- Schedule personnel, equipment, and tools when required
- Follow construction and plumbing safety standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Read and follow plumbing layouts and specifications
- Assist with additional plumbing and mechanical tasks as needed

Skills & Qualifications
To qualify, you should have:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of plumbing experience
- Good knowledge of plumbing systems and pipe installation
- Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely
- Physical fitness and stamina
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Work Environment
