Key Responsibilities
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and driving tractor-trailers to transport goods across provinces
- Planning travel schedules and routes to meet delivery deadlines
- Loading and unloading cargo safely and efficiently
- Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Ensuring cargo is properly secured in compliance with regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and clients
- Following all road safety and transportation regulations
