Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Manager, you will:
- Monitor revenues to determine labour costs
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily restaurant operations
- Set staff work schedules and supervise staff performance
- Train staff and conduct performance reviews
- Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and health & safety regulations
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation
- Address customer complaints or concerns and ensure excellent customer service
- Manage events and special occasions
- Lead, instruct, and motivate staff in various areas of responsibility
- Utilize computer systems, including point of sale systems and MS Office, to manage operations

Required Qualifications & Skills
