Responsibilities

As a Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Administer evaluative and diagnostic tests
  • Assess patients’ physical abilities and limitations
  • Examine patients and determine appropriate tests and procedures
  • Plan and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment programs
  • Select and demonstrate appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manual techniques
  • Teach and supervise therapeutic exercises for patients
  • Maintain accurate clinical and progress reports
  • Confer and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Supervise, hire, and train technical and support staff as required
  • Conduct research in physiotherapy, where applicable
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment with strong attention to detail

Required Qualifications & Skills

SANTIMED FAMILY AND WALK-IN CLINIC is seeking candidates who offer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent experience
  • Eligibility for licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Successful completion of the Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination
  • Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) designation (asset)
  • Willingness to be trained (experience not mandatory)
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong judgement, punctuality, and client-focused approach
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English
