Responsibilities
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy when required
- Demonstrate mountain driving expertise
- Load and unload goods and ensure proper tarping, safety, and securement of cargo
- Transport and handle dangerous goods safely
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Inspect tires, brakes, lights, cold storage, and other vehicle equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance, brake adjustments, and emergency roadside repairs
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Obtain special permits and documentation for international cargo transport
- Address customer complaints or concerns professionally
- Coach colleagues on new work methods or techniques
- Arrange travel itineraries and related reservations when required
- Pay and receive payments for goods when necessary

Required Qualifications & Skills
Bhau Transportation Ltd. is seeking candidates who offer:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of truck driving experience
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work on-site (no remote option)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage heavy workloads
- Comfortable handling heavy loads and repetitive tasks
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Professional, reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
Credentials
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Valid commercial truck driving credentials
- Knowledge of driver logbooks and transportation documentation
