Key Responsibilities

As a Live-In Caregiver, you will:

• Administer bedside and personal care

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene

• Support clients with regular exercise (e.g., walking)

• Feed or assist in feeding

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Plan therapeutic diets and menus as required

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

• Launder clothing and household linens

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Assist with daily routines while promoting independence

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised living environment

Required Qualifications & Skills

Aurora Krisko is seeking candidates who offer:

• College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (1–2 years)

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant caregiving experience

• Valid First Aid Certificate

• Strong understanding of personal care and home support duties

• Ability to work independently in a client’s home

• Excellent dependability, honesty, and initiative

• Flexibility to work morning, evening, and flexible hours

• Client-focused, respectful, and compassionate approach

Work Environment & Conditions

You will work in:

• A non-smoking, private home setting

• An on-site, live-in care environment (no remote work)

• A role requiring physical activity, including:

  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling

  • Repetitive tasks

  • Weight handling up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Salary & Benefits

This position offers:

• $22.00 hourly

• 40 hours per week
