Key Responsibilities
As a Laundry Assistant, you will:

Provide efficient, high-quality laundry services for residents

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items

Maintain laundry equipment and ensure all areas are clean and organised
-
Follow hygiene, safety, and infection-control procedures
-
Work independently and as part of a multiskilled care team

Uphold high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and resident dignity

Required Qualifications & Skills
Roseneath Lifecare is looking for candidates who bring:

Previous laundry experience (preferred, but full training provided)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Physical fitness to perform repetitive lifting and standing tasks

Awareness of Health & Safety and Infection Control practices

Understanding of Ngā Paerewa sector standards and application of the Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace
