Key Responsibilities
As a Fruit Farm Worker, you will:

Assist with planting, pruning, training, and harvesting fruit crops

Handle heavy lifting of fruit, supplies, and equipment safely

Maintain clean, organised work areas across the farm

Monitor crop health and report issues related to pests or diseases
-
Use hand tools and operate equipment as required

Work collaboratively with the farm team to meet daily production goals

Support general farm labour tasks throughout the season

Required Qualifications & Skills
Dorenberg Orchards is looking for candidates who bring:

Experience in farming, horticulture, or agriculture (preferred)

Familiarity with farm machinery, irrigation systems, and power tools

Supervisory experience (an asset for leadership tasks)

Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or farm machinery safely

Basic math skills for farm measurements and calculations

Welding or equipment repair experience (an asset)

Strong physical stamina for lifting, bending, and long hours of manual labour

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
