🔧 Role Overview
As a Factory Operative, you’ll be part of a hands-on team producing high-quality desserts in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You’ll rotate through various tasks and production areas, ensuring efficiency, safety, and exceptional product quality.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Assist in producing meringues, sponge cakes, and lamingtons
- Operate ovens, depositors, packing machinery, and flow wrappers
- Monitor product quality and hygiene
- Stack and store trays/cartons
- Ensure correct counts and packaging
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols
- Collaborate effectively with your team
- Proactively resolve daily production challenges
🧠 Qualifications & Skills
- Food production or bakery experience (preferred)
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to follow instructions and adapt to different tasks
- Good understanding of workplace hygiene and safety
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
