Key Responsibilities
As a Cook at PARC, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving high-quality meals in both restaurant-style and bistro-style settings
- Following proper food-handling procedures and maintaining excellent hygiene
- Ensuring meals are served at correct temperatures and appropriate portion sizes
- Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and workstation
- Assisting with receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries
- Creating a positive dining experience for residents and guests
- Supporting the Food & Beverage team with daily operations
- Upholding PARC’s standards for quality, presentation, and service

Required Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for candidates who bring:
- A culinary diploma or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen
- Food Safe Level 1 certification
- WHMIS certification
- Knowledge of food preparation, portion control, menus, and commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong communication skills and an upbeat, positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Commitment to excellent customer service and respect for seniors’ needs
- Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Note: A Criminal Record Check and TB test are required within the first month of employment.
