Key Responsibilities

As a Cook at PARC, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving high-quality meals in both restaurant-style and bistro-style settings
  • Following proper food-handling procedures and maintaining excellent hygiene
  • Ensuring meals are served at correct temperatures and appropriate portion sizes
  • Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and workstation
  • Assisting with receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries
  • Creating a positive dining experience for residents and guests
  • Supporting the Food & Beverage team with daily operations
  • Upholding PARC’s standards for quality, presentation, and service

Required Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for candidates who bring:

  • A culinary diploma or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification
  • WHMIS certification
  • Knowledge of food preparation, portion control, menus, and commercial kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication skills and an upbeat, positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and respect for seniors’ needs
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Note: A Criminal Record Check and TB test are required within the first month of employment.
