Casual Cleaner – Environmental Services Assistant

Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaner at Arcare Parkwood, you will be expected to:
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Follow strict infection control and hygiene protocols to maintain resident safety.
- Dispose of waste (general and medical) according to regulations.
- Stock and organize hygiene supplies for staff and residents.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, and trolleys.
- Contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with colleagues and residents.

Required Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or related experience preferred (not essential).
- Friendly, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.
- Must have Australian working rights.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
Work Environment & Culture
At Arcare, you’ll be part of a welcoming, respectful, and supportive workplace. Shifts are available in AM or PM rosters on specific days, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle while ensuring consistent support for our residents.
Salary & Benefits
