About The Role
As part of the Housekeeping team, you’ll contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and comforting space for residents and staff. You’ll be working in a Care Home environment, supporting daily operations and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety are upheld.
Housekeeper and Cleaner Jobs in New Zealand Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks as outlined in the Care Home’s schedule and protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and service areas.
- Ensure safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning materials.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Household Supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to Health & Safety policies and infection control practices.
- Respect the dignity, privacy, and independence of all residents.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (preferably in healthcare or aged care).

- Reliable transport or travel arrangements.
