Responsibilities
As a Caregiver, you will:
- Assist residents with daily personal care, including showering, dressing, and hygiene
- Support residents during mealtimes and assist with feeding when required
- Follow individual care plans and assist with mobility, walks, and exercises
- Help residents participate in social and recreational activities
- Monitor resident wellbeing and report concerns to senior staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Build respectful and supportive relationships with residents and their families
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver high-quality service
- Follow health, safety, and aged care regulations at all times

Required Qualifications & Skills
Summerset Retirement Villages is seeking candidates who offer:
- Previous experience in aged care or a similar role (preferred)
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and nights
- Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Willingness to complete training and ongoing development
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
