Key Responsibilities
As a dental assistant, your duties may include the following:
- You will provide chairside support and play an integral part in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Preparing treatment rooms, assisting orthodontists and oral health therapists during procedures,
- Performing instrument sterilisation and infection control duties, using digital imaging and scanning equipment, and
- Maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment.
- Some reception duties may also be required.

Skills & Qualifications
In order to qualify for the job, you need the following:
- Minimum two years experience in a dental or orthodontic setting
- Experience in both chairside assisting and reception duties
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail
- A friendly, caring nature and the ability to build rapport with patients and team members
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (highly desirable)
