Key Responsibilities
As a Dairy Goat Farm Assistant, your duties may include:
Animal Care:
- Feeding and caring for dairy goats
- Monitoring animal health and wellbeing
- Raising and caring for goat kids
Milking Duties:
- Milking goats in a rotary dairy shed
- Operating modern milking equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness in milking areas
Farm Operations:
- Assisting with general farm maintenance
- Operating tractors and farm equipment when required
- Supporting daily farm activities
General Support:
- Following farm schedules and instructions
- Working closely with the farm team
- Maintaining workplace safety standards

To qualify, you should have:
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

Work Environment

- Early morning shifts starting at 5:00am

Additional Information
Work Conditions:
- Minimum 35 hours guaranteed per week
