Key Responsibilities
As a Dump Truck Driver, your duties may include:
Driving & Transport:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation systems
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Check tires, brakes, lights, and other equipment
- Perform minor adjustments and maintenance
Cargo Handling:
- Load and unload goods
- Secure and tarp cargo properly
- Record cargo details, fuel usage, and travel logs
