Key Responsibilities
As a Painter, you will:

Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
-
Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections
-
Mix paint to achieve required colour, consistency, and texture
-
Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper or fabric to interior walls
-
Provide colour advice and assist customers with selecting finishes
-
Erect scaffolding, swing stages, and install rigging safely
-
Apply paint, wallpaper, stains, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
-
Estimate materials, time, and associated costs for projects
-
Work safely in outdoor, underground, and high-elevation environments
-
Maintain tools and equipment and follow company safety protocols
Required Qualifications & Skills
New Leaf Painting Ltd. is looking for candidates who bring:

Secondary (high school) graduation certificate
-
1 to less than 7 months of related experience
-
Strong understanding of painting tools, mixing techniques, and surface preparation
-
Ability to work outdoors, underground, and at heights
-
Physical fitness for bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, and climbing
-
Reliable communication and teamwork skills
-
Initiative, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
-
Ability to work mornings, days, evenings, and weekends as needed
