Position Summary
As Hotel Driver, you will be the first impression of The Lana for many of our esteemed guests. Your mission is to provide safe, courteous, and efficient transportation services while upholding the highest standards of luxury and hospitality. You’ll support the concierge team, maintain our fleet’s pristine condition, and ensure each guest’s journey begins and ends in comfort and style.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests professionally and courteously upon arrival or departure.
- Drive guests to and from the hotel, airport, or other destinations in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure all hotel vehicles are clean, presentable, and well-maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with the concierge, doormen, and luggage porters to support seamless guest service.
- Uphold the Dorchester Collection’s values and “We Care” philosophy in every interaction.
- Monitor road and traffic conditions to determine efficient routes.
- Assist with loading and unloading guest luggage as needed.
- Keep vehicle logs and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Offer helpful local knowledge and recommendations to guests.
- Respond flexibly to guest requests and adapt to changing situations.
- Provide guests and visitors a lasting first impression of The Lana.
- Maintain a high level of personal grooming and presentation at all times.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Valid UAE driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional driving experience, ideally with luxury hotels or premium vehicles.
- Excellent English communication skills (additional languages a plus).
- A warm, hospitable, and professional demeanor.
- Strong sense of direction and familiarity with Dubai’s road networks.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation standards.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Discretion, integrity, and a calm attitude under pressure.
