Job Summary
The Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of personnel, vehicles, or goods as assigned. You will ensure that all trips are conducted with professionalism, timeliness, and adherence to traffic regulations. This role also includes basic vehicle maintenance responsibilities and accurate recordkeeping for each journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport company personnel, vehicles, or goods to assigned destinations
- Follow all safety, road, and traffic regulations to ensure safe driving practices
- Maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle at all times
- Conduct daily pre-operation vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate trip logs, including mileage, passenger count, trip purpose, and fuel usage
- Assist with route planning to ensure timely arrivals and minimal delays
- Report all incidents or accidents immediately to the supervisor
- Refuel vehicles and ensure servicing is done on schedule
- Assist in loading or unloading items if transporting goods
